Vijay Ambati
With 30+ years of top-level experience in the field of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and analytical research standards, Vijay has shaped Clearsynth into an organization that has shattered paradigms in the industry, elevating the scientific community by providing high-end, highly technical research products used in drug discovery and analytical research by labs all over the world.
In 2013, he was honored as the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year at the UBM Pharma Awards, India’s most prestigious industry event. An avid traveler, Vijay is a truly global presence in the industry; he is always seeking strategic acquisitions in an effort to expand Clearsynth’s already extensive pool of senior scientists, an effort that has led to his visiting more than 45 countries and counting. When not traveling or immersed in his CEO activities, Vijay always makes time for his favorite activities – biking is one of his top passions!!
Biren comes to Clearsynth with more than 40 years experience in a wide variety of industries, having collaborated with more than 450 clients across such sectors as media, real estate, infrastructure, telecommunications, life sciences, FMCG, hospitality, and many more.
He has been with Clearsynth since the beginning, playing a central role in the setup of our operations in Canada and our R&D center in Hyderabad, as well as establishing our corporate office. He assembled a team of more than 250 personnel across various functions, such as securing DSIR approval, our Heavy Water Board Agreement, and establishing relationships with key clients and vendors, just to name a few.
Biren is an exceptional mentor and coach whose high levels of expertise, insight, energy, focus and passion in everything he undertakes empowers him to assemble high-performance teams. His vital skills in operating strategy, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as his background in process and people management – especially within the context of large scale project management and change program mandates – provides a foundation for ensuring Clearsynth’s continued large-scale business growth.
Dr. Sakthivel has more than 25 years experience handling multi-step synthesis projects, including NCE with new ROS or customer process.
He has rich experience in the Biotech, CRO and CRAMS industries, managing end-to-end activities ranging from R&D budgeting to planning, execution, synthesis and project management. He has an extensive list of publications and patents to his credit. A highly educated scientist, he has a PhD and postdoctorate in Organic Chemistry, Molecular Biology from National Chemical Laboratory, India, and Scripps Research Institute in the United States.
Dr. T. V. R. S. Sastry brings 25+ years of rich experience in research & development to Clearsynth, as well as a proven track record elevating organizational performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Committed to advancing scientific initiatives and delivering transformative solutions, he has an extensive list of publications and patents to his credit. A PhD and postdoctoral organic chemistry fellow, he has worked with several well-established companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Katukuri is an experienced analytical research professional with a career spanning more than 17 years of successful qualitative and quantitative analysis of APIs and NCE compounds. His academic and professional credentials include an MS degree in Organic Chemistry, a bachelor’s degree in Education, and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
An expert in handling a wide variety of analytical instruments and analytical techniques for method development and validation, impurity profiling and structure elucidation, he has many successful projects and publications to his credit.
Dr. Katukuri has worked for such leading companies as Dr. Reddy's, Sannova Analytical, Vimta Labs, APL Research and Nektar Therapeutics.
Sharad is an accomplished professional with over 24 years of experience in sales, business development and global product management in the analytical instruments industry. He brings a wealth of expertise to Clearsynth in P&L management, strategy development, and leadership.
Sharad has a proven track record in national and global roles across food, pharma, FMCG, industrial, and government sectors; he excels in driving growth, implementing innovative solutions, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes. At Clearsynth, he plays a major role in contributing toward substantial business expansions and market strategies. His passion for traveling, reading, music, and photography complements his professional endeavors.
Shermishtha has 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Her qualifications include attaining an M.Sc. International degree from Birmingham University, England and an MBA in Pharma Management from Punjab University. Her technical background of B.Pharmacy rounds out her skills, making her a more holistic leader.
Before joining Clearsynth, Shermishtha worked with other globally prominent companies, including some of the world's largest producers of APIs/catalog products in numerous settings, including Canada, United Kingdom and India.
Anal joins us as Senior Manager, bringing over 15 years of diverse experience across academia, industry, and consulting. He has a strong background in product development, quality management and strategic consulting. He has led many global projects focused on innovation and operational excellence.
Passionate about techno-commercial roles, Anal is committed to driving growth in advanced chemical technologies. He is known for his focus on excellence, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. His ability to translate complex technical concepts into effective business strategies has consistently worked to deliver high value and accelerated success.
